Growing up, we were fortunate to have grandparents who cared for us while our parents worked. As adults with our own families, we were blessed to have our parents watch our children. However, we realized that many parents don’t have this option. As a nurse, I noticed that families often struggle to find trustworthy, dependable, and reliable childcare, especially those with varying shifts.
This inspired us to create a quality, trustworthy, and dependable family-like childcare facility. We wanted to establish a family-like atmosphere not just for the children, but for their families and our staff as well. Our goal is to provide an enriching environment where children can learn and grow, and where parents feel safe and secure leaving their own children.

People often ask us, “Why childcare?” As a mother of four children—ages 20, 18, 13, and 6—I can say they are all wonderful kids. The two oldest are mature and responsible, while the younger two are still finding their way. My older children have never been in childcare because I had my doubts, fueled by the unsettling stories about daycares. But as my parents grew older, it became clear they couldn’t keep up with my youngest, so he now attends this Centre.
Everything in this Centre was created with thought and love. From the big tree and the murals my daughter painted on the walls to the carefully selected furniture and toys, we wanted the space to be warm and inviting for everyone. We took our time hiring our Educators because we weren’t just looking for employees; we wanted passionate educators who genuinely love working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
We value our staff immensely and believe that a supportive and positive work environment is crucial for the well-being of both educators and children. Our staff members are not just employees; they are part of our family, contributing to a nurturing and enriching atmosphere.
I hope people notice the little details that make our Centre unique. This place is not just about childcare; it’s about building relationships, learning, growing, and discovering potential.

With a background in child development and years of experience in the field, Hamida brings a wealth of knowledge, care, and expertise to Klarvatten. As a passionate advocate for children’s well-being and growth, she ensures that our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each child and support their holistic development. With a hands-on approach and a focus on fostering a warm and inclusive environment, she leads our team of educators with compassion, professionalism, and dedication.
